Hace un par de semanas el suplemento de ciencia Milenio de El Heraldo de Aragón traía un magnífico artículo titulado La voz única de los Stradivarius. Sin embargo, y aquí viene la parte interesante, la autora del artículo se hace eco de otras explicaciones alternativas, como que los Stradivarius se vieron favorecidos por un cambio en los gustos musicales. Cuando el éxito de la música sinfónica comenzó a privilegiar instrumentos como los Stradivarius, más potentes que los violines que hasta entonces habían usado las formaciones de cámara, su fama se disparó, y con ella el deseo de los mejores intérpretes por poseer una de aquellas piezas. Lo demás es puro márquetin mordiéndose la cola, en una ecuación de escasez, prestigio, leyenda y distinción que cualquier usuario de productos de lujo habrá sabido reconocer.
